Enhancements

  • Data Browser:

    • Navigation Tree:
      • Search - Choose either 'navigate' or 'filters' to reduce search result. Refer to Find in naviation tree for more information.
      • Search result displays the search word clearer.
    • Configure: Refer to Data Browser - Configure for more information.
      • Style - "Prioritise Colour By" choose either 'row' or 'column' for which Colour takes priority when both Colours are used. (Zendesk #31028)
        NB: Column Colour is via fields - format. Row Colour is via Configure - alternate rows or from the multi-layer/outer layer row Colours.
      • Other - "Show Tooltip for Overflow Text" ticked by Default when adding a new widget/running a new report.
    • Send to Excel - As Is:
      • Exports exactly how the databrowser is presented, ie with background Colours and fields expanded etc. (Zendesk #31604)
      • Displays the correct values as the databrowser. (Zendesk #31544, 32845)
    • Reports - ability to delete excel reports.

  • Report Editor:

    • Company name auto populates. Company Name is entered within Control Centre - {dataset name} - connection - Company Name.
    • Fields are "added" to where they are dragged and dropped.

  • Reports Tab:

    • Excel Publisher reports record when they were created, updated and run. (zendesk #24640)
    • Reports can be filtered once run. (Zendesk #16211)
    • Running a report can be exported to excel. (Zendesk #29563, 30139)
    • New Icons:
      • expand all Expand and
      • collapse all Collapse.

  • Administration:

    • System Logs - 'Create Date' column moved next to 'log level'.
    • Permissions - consistent user interface when selecting users for 'Data Access', 'Menu Items' and 'Report Access'.
    • Audit Logs - displays row deletions from labour budgeting. (Zendesk #24206)
    • Links - the option of 'Portlets' has been been removed as 'Dashboards' are the equivalent.
    • Control Centre:
      • {dataset name} - Layer parmeters - Use variables in Layer Codes.
      • {dataset name} - Time Series - time series can be hidden for budgets, widgets and reports.
      • System Settings:
        • Time Zone - choose the relevant timezone to be used in the generators.
        • Removed 'Broadcast Message' as this feature no longer exists
    • User Management - Validate users on import. Refer to user management - import users for more information. (Zendesk #32261)

  • Budgets:

    • Worksheets - link to multiple (Zendesk #23952)
    • "Please navigate to the xxx layer to view the budget data" displays when opening a budget before drilling to the layer. For example, budget layer text
    • Copy cell value. Refer to budget data entry - right click menus option for more information.

  • Charts:

    • Configure - Show Filter Locks - view which filters have been applied to the chart.
    • Dataset fields and values - view the fields and values applied to the chart.
    • Automatic height adjustment of chart when 'dataset fields and values' and 'filter locks' are active.
    • Background Colour of chart, filter locks and 'dataset fields and values'. Refer to configure charts for more information.
    • Series - choose the level of opacity. Refer to configure charts - right click menu for more information.
    • New chart type - Area. Add the 'bar chart' widget, change the chart type to 'Area'.

Fixes

  • Budget Entry - Export to Excel - fails with too many rows. (Zendesk #37188)
  • Reporting - Search - does not take user to selected result. (Zendesk #11346)
  • Tab contents are blank intermittently on load or displays wrong screen/user interface when moving on many tabs.

  • Data Browser:

    • Error: 'Unable to Load Data Browser' when Outer Layer is turned on and the Grand Total row is either at the Bottom or not shown. (Zendesk #35078)
    • Lowest level of a multi layer report is no longer a hyperlink.
    • 'Restore default screen' honours the filters being applied. (Zendesk #27058)

  • Navigation Tree:

    • Change icon when dragging and dropping reports from different folders outside of existing "group" for example, Shared with Everyone.
    • Prevent drag and drop of filters.
    • Right click menu options - improvements made as different options displayed depending on where you clicked.

  • Report Editor - Unable to add fields. (Zendesk #30296)

  • Administration:

    • System logs - Create Date disappears randonmly.
    • Links - Scheduler Tasks - Error: No Items Exist. No items exist for style: Scheduled Tasks. (Zendesk #27564)
    • Control Centre:
      • {dataset name} - fields - expanding field groupings no longer flickers.
      • {dataset name} - Budget Information - {Budget Name} - Budget Fields - the page loads, but not everything is loaded.

  • Charts:

    • Unable to remove a series. (Zendesk #36846)
