Getting Started / Authentication

MAGIQ Cloud is the central platform for the navigation and delivery of MAGIQ Performance.

MAGIQ has developed a secure Two Factor Authentication [ 2FA ] process, which utilises Authy, a leading SaaS security technology.
This provides an extremely secure username and password solution for users accessing the Cloud remotely. The Cloud enables remote office connections without a requirement for VPN and mobile access for users from home or remote locations.

The Authentication processing allows a user to manage their own user credentials once initially deployed i.e. reset their own password, taking away a large services load from your organisation's IT department.

Once users are logged into the Cloud they will also be subjected to the standard MAGIQ authorisations security, ensuring access to their specific menu and data access permissions only.

Currently, user generation is done in each product until the user management utility has been finalised.

Username Naming Conventions

It is important to keep the usernames consistent therefore, the recommended user name/user id naming convention is firstname.lastname as long as it does not exceed 16 characters. MAGIQ support users should be created with support.firstname(first character of last name) e.g support.nickp
