Data Browser / Send To¶
Send what you are viewing in your Data Browser window to either Excel, a Report or to the dashboard.
Right click anywhere in the Data Browser window and choose one of the below options:
Excel¶
Sends the information from the Data Browser to excel.
As Is¶
Exports the data as displayed in the Data Browser to Excel (to download) with all user settings such as columns, column placement, sorting, fonts, variance colours, alignments applied to the spreadsheet. The report header is also automatically generated and applied.
Customise¶
These options will need to be chosen each time:

Formatting:
- Ticked - Exports the data to excel with all user settings such as columns, column placement, sorting, fonts, variance colours, alignments applied to the spreadsheet. The report header is also automatically generated and applied. Icons will only be included when 'Icons' is ticked.
- Not ticked - Exports the data to excel ready for download without any formulas and formatting is limited.

Icons - Determines whether icons are included when data is exported with formatting
- Expand All Layers - Only used for multi-layer data browsers. If ticked then all layers will be expanded in export, otherwise layers will appear as they are on screen.
With sub layer¶
Generate an excel report summarised at the level displayed in the Data Browser window, followed by a selected sub layer (which can be any layer above or below the displayed layer), chosen as you are exporting. It will produce a report like a multi layer/outer layer, for example, your Data Browser window may display the data at the Account Type Layer.
Selecting Cost Centre will produce a preview of all Cost Centres summarised at Account Type level.
Report¶
Sends the data from the Data Browser to report preview in your web browser.
From the preview you can print the report or save as PDF, word document, image or excel spreadsheet.
As Is¶
Generates a report preview in your web browser with all user settings such as column placement, sorting, fonts, colours, alignments are applied to the report.
The report header is also automatically generated and applied.
If too many columns exist, they may not show on the report, therefore you will need use Customise.
With sub layer¶
Generate a report preview summarised at the level displayed in the Data Browser window, followed by a selected sub layer (which can be any layer above or below the displayed layer) chosen as you are exporting. It will produce a report like a multi layer/outer layer, for example, your Data Browser window may display the data at the Account Type Layer.
Selecting Cost Centre will produce a preview of all Cost Centres summarised at Account Type level. Or, Selecting Department will produce a preview of all Departments summarised at Account Type level.
Customise¶
Generate a preview report with as many layers as you select, in any order of preference, with page breaks at any level you choose.
!! note: Any formatting that is required on your report needs to be done prior to creating the report.
