Introduction to Data Browser¶
The Data Browser window displays the selected data as filtered by the Navigation Tree as well as navigating through the layers of the database, allowing you to see your dataset from multiple aspects.
Data Browser Navigation¶
Drilling down the layers/through the data:¶
- Move the mouse across the description column in the Data Browser window and the cursor changes to a pointing hand.
- You will also notice that when the cursor is on a particular description it is coloured in blue and underlined.
- A double click on any description will drill down to the next layer under your selected description.
- Further double clicks on selected layers will move you further down into the layers of your dataset.
Move back¶
Moving up the layers of your dataset (once layer at a time) can be achieved by double clicking the Grand Total description.
Save Data Browser Layouts¶
You have added/removed fields, specified filters, conditions and you now want to saved this so it can be used in future.
