Reporting Platform / Connections¶
The Reporting Platform lists the all datasets that are standard for MAGIQ Performance.
All datasets have the following configuration elements:
Connections¶
Specify the connection to the database containing the source data to be displayed for the particular dataset.
save changes.
refresh screen.
tests the connection to the database.
| Parameters | Description |
|---|---|
| Key | Unique identifer for the dataset. This key is set when creating the dataset and cannot be changed. |
| Connection ID | Select from the drop down the connection ID that is point to the source database. For example B2. |
| Connection String | Connection string that point to the database. |
| Database Type | Database type that the souce data is in. For exmaple, SQLServer, Oracle |
| Product Name | Select the relevant product name that relates to what system the database is sourcing data from. For Example, MYOB, Fujitsu |
| System Name | Enter the name of the sytem |
| Company Name | Your organisation name to appear on reports |
| Extra Heading | Text you wish to display at the bottom of the navigation tree window, for exmaple, Date Generated at hh:mm:ss on dd/mm/yyyy |
| Auth Officer | Enter default auth officer to write to database table |
| Reporting Platform | Set to Yes if this part of the report platform |
| Reporting Platform Version | Reporting platform version |
| Reporting Platform ID | Reporting platform ID |
| Generator File Name | MAGIQ Performance Generator file name |
| Generator Process Name | MAGIQ Performance Generator process name |
