How To / Create a Report¶
Quite often when loading a connector, i.e. General Ledger, a default databrowser displays with a report that has already been created. However, there may be times when you want to create your own report. The below is an example of how you can create a report.

Ensure a data browser widget is added.
- To Add a widget:
- Ensure Edit Mode is open.
- Select Manage Widgets
- Choose Data Browser
- To Add a widget:

The widget will now display ready for you to start making your changes.

Add fields to the widget.

You might want to zoom to a particular layer.

You may want to present your data in a different layout.

Do you want to filter your data?

Do you need to apply any conditions?

Do you need to apply a time series?

Once you have the widget the way you want it, you can now save it.

With the report now saved, you may want to send it to excel:
- Right mouse click in the data browser widget.
- Choose Send To.
- Select Excel.

Or, you may want to send it to a report:
- Right mouse click in the data browser widget.
- Choose Send To.
- Select Report.
To reopen the report.¶
- From the Navigation Tree.
- Choose Reports.
