How To / Create a Report

Quite often when loading a connector, i.e. General Ledger, a default databrowser displays with a report that has already been created. However, there may be times when you want to create your own report. The below is an example of how you can create a report.

  • Ensure a data browser widget is added.

  • The widget will now display ready for you to start making your changes.

  • Add fields to the widget.

  • You might want to zoom to a particular layer.

  • You may want to present your data in a different layout.

  • Do you want to filter your data?

  • Do you need to apply any conditions?

  • Do you need to apply a time series?

  • Once you have the widget the way you want it, you can now save it.

  • With the report now saved, you may want to send it to excel:

    • Right mouse click in the data browser widget.
    • Choose Send To.
    • Select Excel.
  • Or, you may want to send it to a report:

    • Right mouse click in the data browser widget.
    • Choose Send To.
    • Select Report.

To reopen the report.

  • From the Navigation Tree.
  • Choose Reports.
